The cleaning efficacy of the PULL THRU™ was compared to traditional brushes that use bristles. Efficacy was tested by applying a simulated blood soil to lumens of two different diameters (to match those of a biopsy and suction lumens, which require manual cleaning) and comparing the weight diffrence before and after cleaning.
The PULL THRU™ device was found to offer a consistently significant improvement in soil removal and was equally effective across both lumen sizes and for both new and used lumens.

Will the PULL THRU™ Cause Damage to the endoscope?
NO. The PULL THRU™ will NOT cause damage to endoscopes.
The wiper elements of the PULL THRU™ that make contact with the channel wall are made from a very soft plastics compound. As these wipers are pulled through the channel they deform to take up the shape of the surface they pass along preventing damage to the surface and creating the seal that removes debris from the channel.

How many times should the PULL THRU™ be passed through the endoscope?
ONE PASS PER CHANNEL.
The PULL THRU™ device is designed to be passed through each channel one time.
What is the efficacy of the PULL THRU™ device?
The PULL THRU'S™ efficacy is scientifically proven.
Independent research carried out comparing the wiper / suction effect of the PULL THRU™ and several existing nylon bristle brushes has shown the PULL THRU™ to be statistically more efficacious across a range of channel diameters and channels in varying states of wear than standard bristle brushes.

The PULL THRU™ is designed to be used in channel sizes 2.8 - 5.0 mm id.

Which end of the PULL THRU™ should be inserted first?
The Leader End of the PULL THRU™ is ALWAYS inserted first. (See 1 Below)

How can I be certain that my endoscope is compatible with the PULL THRU™?
Check the channel specifications in the manual from your endoscope manufacturer.
Also, check that the head of the PULL THRU™ fits in the distal end before use. (See illustration below)
